Established in 1892, the historic town of Dullstroom is renowned for the superb fly-fishing it has to offer. The diversity of fishing conditions is probably what sets Dullstroom apart from other small towns. Trout waters range from large 16ha dams where float tubes and fast sinking lines are advised, to narrow streams where only the most delicate of presentation will entice the trout to your dry. Accommodation is as varied as the fishing waters and you will be well advised to book in advance.
Situated in the town, we are ideally located to outfit you in your search for that elusive trout. We carry a full range of rods, reels, accessories and flies. Although we have to charge you for your gear, the fishing tips and advice are always free. John has spent the last 30 years of his life fishing for trout in both South Africa and for Scotland at National level. Introducing the youth to this wonderfull passtime is one of Johns favourite passions. He offers not only tuition and tips to the new angler but will spend time with all levels of flyfishers to discuss tips and tactics.
